Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Grymven recruitment portal at grymven-recruit.pages.dev. By using this portal, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Grymven is a community game-development project, not a registered company. These terms are not a commercial contract — they are a set of rules designed to keep this portal fair and usable for everyone.
Who can use this portal
You must be 16 years of age or older to use this portal. By logging in or submitting an application, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You must have a valid Discord account to log in. Use of this portal is subject to Discord's own Terms of Service.
Applying to a team
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance to any team. All decisions are made at the sole discretion of the Grymven recruitment team. We are not obligated to provide reasons for any decision, though we aim to communicate outcomes clearly.
When you submit an application, you agree that:
- All information you provide is accurate and honest to the best of your knowledge.
- You will not attempt to submit multiple applications for the same team while one is already under review.
- You will not attempt to contact reviewers outside of the official process to influence your outcome.
- You will not share the content of your application, the interview questions, or any information obtained during the process with other applicants.
Providing false information or attempting to manipulate the process will result in disqualification and may result in removal from the Grymven community.
Tester confidentiality
If you are accepted as a Tester, you agree not to share screenshots, recordings, footage, or details of any playtest content outside of Grymven's designated channels. Grymven is a pre-release project and this confidentiality is essential to protect development work. Breach of this will result in immediate removal from the Tester team and may result in removal from the community.
Reviewer conduct
If you hold a reviewer role, you agree to handle application data responsibly and confidentially. You will not share applicant information outside of the review process, use your access for any purpose other than reviewing applications, or make decisions based on personal bias unrelated to the role requirements.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to access data or functionality you are not authorised to use.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate interactions with this portal.
- Submit content that is hateful, discriminatory, or intended to harm others.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
No guarantees
This portal is provided as-is, by a volunteer community team, without any warranty of availability or reliability. We will do our best to keep it running, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Application data is retained as described in our Privacy Notice but we cannot guarantee against data loss.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update. Continued use of the portal after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
